yeah, guess what I bought to watch at the weekend i was practically weaned on the 1980s Turtles tv series, it first introduced me to the worlds of superheroes and im starting to rediscover my childhood love for these guys!
i love the strong "family" theme that runs throughout the films and cartoons and hopefully this comes across in this drawing.
Expect more turtle drawings . . . i think im on a roll!!
ps. MUST get a scanner working in my house!! i had this coloured up nicely in pencil, but i had to photograph it and the colours went funny so ive had to do most of the colour again in photoshop . . . hope its not too noticable!!
how cute!
i loved those guys.
as a kid i think i owned every single Ninja Turtles action figure. at least the first two series of them..
fun fun times.

well, i was always partial to Casey Jones The Sports Warrior.
as for my favourite turtle, i liked Donatello as a kid. he was the first figure i obtained.
when the first movie came out, it blew me away.
actually, i know someone who played Donatello in the first movie. he was inside the suit doing all the ninjitsu stuff.

No way, really? u knew someone in the Donnie suit? Wicked!
yeah, i watched the TMNT movie at the weekend and i think im falling in love with it all over again! it was great!i mean, ok the prosthetics were a bit cheesy, the story is really basic and it has no famous names attatched but what a Movie!! ive watched it like, 3 times since saturday and im not bored yet!
yeah, Donatello always was my favourite turtle but my favourite character from the whole thing has to be Splinter - i loved it when he threw the book at Michelangello! !
I dont remember Casey from the 80s cartoon but he was fantastic in the film! really good . . . was he in the sequal? i cant rememer that one either . . .

i think Casey Jones was in that. if only very briefly.
i'm not sure if i ever saw the third movie. 'Turtles In Time' or whatever it was called...
i haven't thought about the Turtles in ages.
maybe i should check out that first movie again...
